US gene pioneer Craig Venter created the first artificial life , saturday 6-10-2007
Some 3.6 billion years ago. a tiny living cell emerged from the dust of the Earth. It replicated itself, and its progeny replicated themselves, and so on, with genetic twists and turns down through billions of generations. Today every living organism, every person, plant, animal and microbe, can trace its heritage back to that first cell. Earth's extended family is the only kind of life that we've observed, so far, in the universe. Scientists in the lab have created novel forms of life from scratch. They've forged chemicals into synthetic DNA, the DNA into genes, genes into genomes, and built the molecular machinery of completely new organisms in the lab, organisms that are nothing like anything nature has produced. The people who are defying Nature's monopoly on creation are a loose collection of engineers, computer scientists, physicists and chemists who look at life quite differently than traditional biologists do.
Craig Venter, is the legendary biotech entrepreneur who made his name by decoding the human genome for a tenth of the predicted cost and in a tenth of the predicted time. Venter has put tens of millions of dollars of his own money into Synthetic Genomics, a start-up, to make artificial organisms that convert sunlight into biofuel, with minimal environmental impact and zero net release of greenhouse gases. These organisms, he says, will "replace the petrochemical industry, most food, clean energy and bioremediation."

US Genetics researcher and gene pioneer Craig Venter created the first artificial life, saturday 6-10-2007
The first artificial life form was created by US Genetics researcher and gene pioneer Craig Venter as reported on Saturday 6-10-2007. The official announcement wiil be at the annual meeting of his scientific institute in San Diego, California within weeks. American scientists have made a synthetic chromosome built out of laboratory chemicals. From that they believe they will be able to create cells which can divide and multiply - displaying all the characteristics of life. A chromosome is one of the threadlike packages of genes and other DNA in the nucleus of a cell. Different life forms have different numbers and shapes of chromosomes. The researcher Craig Venter and a team of 20 scientists have already constructed a synthetic chromosome using artificial DNA. The sequence has 381 genes and contains 580,000 base pairs of genetic code. This artificial chromosome, Mycoplasma laboratorium, was transplanted into a living bacterial cell and it is expected to take control of the cell and therefore become a new life form. The result would bring scientists a step closer to creating 'designer' microbes. These lifeforms could lead to the creation of bacteria which could help mop up excessive carbon dioxide and help combat global warming or provide biofuel or remove carbon. The researchers have already transformed one type of bacteria into another using a similar technique. They managed to swop the entire genome - the genetic software containing information for life - of a bacterial cell with one from a different, but related, bug. Given a completely new set of genes, the bacterium's species was effectively changed. Dr Venter, of the J Craig Venter Institute, in Rockville, Maryland, said: 'We are going from reading our genetic code to the ability to write it. That gives us the hypothetical ability to do things never contemplated before. We feel this is good science.'. 'We are dealing in big ideas. We are trying to create a new value system for life. When dealing at this scale, you can't expect everybody to be happy.'
DNA researcher Mr Venter is best known for his involvement in the race to decipher the human genetic code. Earlier this month, the decision was made to give the go-ahead for embryos containing both human and animal material to be created in British laboratories within months. A shortage of human eggs led scientists to seek permission to make hybrid embryos from human skin cells and animal eggs such as those from cows, plentiful in slaughterhouses. Two teams of scientists are poised to start making cowhuman hybrids for research into incurable diseases
Ignorance has resulted in the creation of religions that prey on the gullible humans. Christianity and Islam are two of the most vicious organization that does more harm to humanity, than any good. Both have the system of having priests and nuns as well as Mullahs to prey upon the minds of people with their rule books called Bible and Koran. It is time to wind up the practice of designating humans as God’s agents. This practice of having Priests, Nuns and Mullahs should be wound up. The terror and tragedy due to Islam is well known. Less known is the Christianity, its priests and nuns.
In many countries like India, male and female children are donated to the church by very poor parents. These children are brought up as priests and nuns and are not allowed to marry and have a normal biological life. Christianity was formed by borrowing primitive concepts and conventions from earlier ignorant societies and became a very powerful but most damaging institution in the world. Those children, who are donated to the church are like slave labor that fattens the christian organization. List of sex abuse cases are just the tip of the iceberg of the problem created by the monstrosity called the Christianity. The christian priests and nuns are like the Muslim Mullahs that sent the suicide bombers all over the world. But in the case of Christianity these priest and nuns are more dangerous and has hindered the progress of science and has resulted in the killing of half a billion fellow humans.

Christian missionaries are International terrorists
Inquisition in 1560 in Goa
Pope Gregory IX was the first international terrorist who organized torture and inhuman killings of fellow beings. It is not the muslim Osama Bin Laden who is the first international terrorist as is being made out to be by the present day media. In 1233 Pope Gregory IX pronounced the official beginning of "The Inquisition" and send a cadre of hard-ass Dominican monks to carry out the torture. We also had an international christian terrorist by name missionary Francis Xavier operating in Goa after that.
Francis Xavier was born on April 7, 1506 in Spain and had come to Goa in 1542, for christian conversion activities. Frustrated by his failures in Goa, Francis Xavier wrote to King D. João III of Portugal, for an Inquisition to be installed in Goa. Vatican authorized and established inquisition in 1560 in Goa. . The inhuman torture of local population by the christian fanatics resulted in significant sections of the Hindu population to migrate from Goa to Mangalore. Only after eight years after the death of this christian terrorist Francisco Xavier did the Hindus come back to Goa.. Conversion by torture and terrorism initiated by Xavier, earned him sainthood from the Pope in 1622. Its torture methods will shame the present day police forces of Karunakaran, Jayalalitha etc in imagination and execution.
1. The Judas Chair: This was a large pyramid-shaped "seat." Accused heretics were placed on top of it, with the point inserted into their anuses or genitalia, then very, very slowly lowered onto the point with ropes. The effect was to gradually stretch out the opening of choice in an extremely painful manner.
2. The Head Vice: Pretty straightforward concept. They put your head into a specially fitted vice, and tighten it until your teeth are crushed, your bones crack and eventually your eyes pop out of their sockets.
3. The Pear: A large bulbous gadget is inserted in the orifice of choice, whether mouth, anus or vagina. A lever on the device then causes it to slowly expand whilst inserted. Eventually points emerge from the tips. (Apparently, internal bleeding doesn't count as "breaking the skin.")
4. The Wheel: Heretics are strapped to a big wheel, and their bones are clubbed into shards. Not very creative, but quite effective.
Methods of execution weren't much better. Since death was the eventual outcome, the skin-breaking point was rendered largely moot. While burning at the stake was the most widely used method, being cost-effective and providing a fun spectacle for the whole family, there were other approaches used in special cases:
1. Sawing: Heretics were hung upside-down and sawed apart down the middle, starting at the crotch.
2. Disembowelment: Not the nice kind of disembowelment, where a samurai slits you wide open like a fish and you die in moments. No, that's not good enough for the Inquisition. A small hole is cut in the gut, then the intestines are drawn out slowly and carefully, keeping the victim alive for as much of the process as possible.
3. The Stake: Depending on how unrepentant a heretic might be, the process of burning at the stake could vary wildly. For instance, a fairly repentant heretic might be strangled, then burned. An entirely unrepentant heretic could be burned over the course of hours, using green wood or simply by placing them on top of hot coals and leaving them there until well done.
The English language is full of subtleties. For instance, it's good to be inquisitive. But it's bad to hold an Inquisition.
Since the death of Jesus Christ, the one sure way to rile up the church has been to engage in heresy. Heresy is pretty much defined as "deliberately disagreeing with the church."
Historically, there have been between two billion and five billion non-christians living in the world at any given time since the Church was founded. That's a lot of heresy.
For three hundred years or so, the early Christians were few and far between, with the result that they mostly found themselves staring at the business end of the persecution gun. This inspired a high-minded libertarian commitment to religious freedom that lasted all of 30 seconds after they took over the Roman Empire.
From then on, it was "my way or the highway." Nevertheless, for the next 900 years, the battle against heresy was a loosely organized and largely non-violent affair. The wimpy Church fathers contented themselves with just writing against and occasionally excommunicating such heretics as the Gnostics. The decision to pursue this philosophical approach stemmed largely from unfavorable odds. Even after assimilating Rome, there weren't enough good, solid Christians in the power base to make the use of force an attractive option.
By the 12th century, this had changed, and the Church suddenly realized the sword is actually a lot mightier than the pen.
The first implementations of this policy were the Crusades, which involved sending armies out to forcibly convert those who didn't agree with the Pope (specifically the Muslims inhabiting the Holy Lands). The first Crusade went really well, but subsequent efforts to recapture the magic were miserable failures.
After a series of embarrassing setbacks, the Church turned its attention inward, busying itself with the task of rooting out the disloyal and misguided within its own domains, primarily Europe.
That's when the Inquisition was born.
Technically, the Inquisition is an ongoing function of the church (more on this below), but when people talk about "the Inquisition," they're usually referring to one of two historically notable incidents: the Albigensian Inquisition, or the Spanish Inquisition.
The Abigensian Inquisition was the first major operation of the sort put on by the Catholic Church. In southern France, a Christian sect known as the Cathars arose around the 12th century.
The Cathars become popular in the Languedoc region of France by living a chaste and ascetic lifestyle which was considerably more in the teachings of Jesus than the local clergy, who were at the time a motley crew of fornicating, corrupt money-grubbers.
The pope, motivated in large part by a lust for the wealth and lands of Languedoc, ordered a Crusade and subsequently an Inquisition in the region to stamp out the heretics and assume ownership of their property. The Crusade was very transparently about wealth and political power, so it failed to actually root out the alleged enemy, namely the Cathars. Once the mainstream Catholics had taken control of the region, they moved belatedly to squash the actual believers.
In 1233, Pope Gregory IX pronounced the official beginning of "The Inquisition," and send a cadre of hard-ass Dominican monks to carry it out. When they arrived in town, the Inquisitors laid out a deadline: Everyone had one month to confess all your warped, evil beliefs and come back into the fold, with only a minimal punishment.
When the month expired, all hell broke loose. The monks began staging trials, with the support of the local government. Any accusation of heresy was enough to start a trial going, and the names of the accusers were kept secret. The trials themselves were held in secret. After a brief flirtation with the concept of a "right to an attorney," all due process was dispensed with. The only appeal of a guilty verdict was to the pope.
The monks decided that the only way you could really be sure if someone was a heretic was to torture them extensively and creatively, just like Jesus would have wanted. Although the later Inquisitors would become far more creative in the use of machinery to support their efforts, the Dominicans were only subject to the papally decreed limit of citra membri diminutionem et mortis periculum, which meant "don't kill 'em" and "no amputations."
The medieval inquisition went on for a couple of centuries, during which time a lot of scores were settled in the South of France. Everyone and anyone with a grudge could hand over their friends, families, enemies and business rivals to the Inquisitors, who were anxious to meet their quotas. The punishment for a guilty verdict in an Inquisitorial trial could range from loss of property to prison to burning at the stake. And the verdict was almost always guilty.
In addition to uncounted numbers of completely innocent people, the Inquisition did succeed where the Albigensian Crusade had failed. By the time it was over, there were no more Cathars. There were also no more Knights Templar. The Knights had been a particularly wealthy and powerful secret society based in the region. The Catholics may have had other motives for killing them. Which is a whole other article. Or two or three.
You probably didn't expect that we would now discuss the Spanish Inquisition. But then, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! In the late 15th century, a new branch of the Inquisition was formed in Spain. The Spanish Inquisition was founded on the somewhat ludicrous notion that Jews and Muslims were pretending to covert to Catholicism in order to undermine the church in Spain.
Since the determination of what someone secretly believes in their heart is complicated by the lack of external and incontrovertible evidence, the Spanish Inquisition quickly became notorious for a) extremely creative use of torture and b) its tendency to be unleashed on just about anyone at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all (thus the "nobody expects" element).
Although you might have a picture of a quaint medieval hysteria, the Spanish Inquisition went on for THREE HUNDRED YEARS, lasting well into the 1800s. The first five years of the Spanish Inquisition were basically rampant mayhem with no appreciable diminishment of the "threat" from the fake Catholics. As a result, Tomas de Torquemada was appointed to, uh, whip the Inquisition into shape.
He succeeded beyond the Church's wildest nightmares. Thousands and thousands of "heretics" were burned at the stakes throughout the duration of the Spanish Inquisition (the exact numbers are unknown). There was no such thing as an "alleged" heretic under the Inquisitions reign of terror; there were only "repentant" and "unrepentant" heretics.
"Repentant" heretics were those who confessed their heresy and agreed to shell over big bucks to the Church. Poor people accused of heresy (who were relatively fewer) could only save themselves with full confessions and by naming the names of other heretics.
To assist people in repenting, the Inquisitors used any torture method they could think of, with the theoretical restriction that they couldn't break the skin. The Inquisitors came up with numerous gadgets to work within this restriction and it was described in the beginning of this article.:
The last burning organized by the Inquisition was in 1834, when the Spanish Inquisition was officially abolished. But though Torquemada's legacy has been laid to rest, the Inquisition lives on.
Based in Vatican City, the Holy Office of the Inquisition is still one of the most powerful branches of the Church hierarchy. In 1965, the P.R.-sensitive Pope Paul VI rebranded the Inquisition as the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, but it was still basically the Inquisition.
The modern church lacked the political power to institute wide-ranging reigns of terror and torture around the world, so the Congregation has to settle for sternly admonishing its targets these days. What a comedown!
Instead of being the most feared institution in the entire civilized world, the Congregation had to settle for making obscure theological pronouncements — in Latin, no less. So just in case you actually wanted to care about what they had to say, you wouldn't be able to read it anyway. In 1966, Paul VI even revoked its ability to ban books, leaving the Inquisition toothless and largely irrelevant going into the 21st century.
‘Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith’ is headed by Cardinal Josef Ratzinger of Munich, who was the recently dead John Paul II ‘s favorite Cardinal. He is a living example of the medieval mindset of John Paul II and his followers.
The Congregation recently pronounced that Yoga is a tool of the devil. It is better if the Inquisition dealt with the whole priestly pedophilia problem. Think of the condition of the Christian priests when they are slowly put on the Judas Chair....
THE CHINESE EXPERIENCE
Bishop Fu Tieshan of the church of China called it a “public humiliation" and "intolerable" event when the recently dead Pope John Paul II conferred sainthood for some 120 deceased criminal christian missionaries who operated on Chinese soil. By choosing 1st October, 2000 for declaring sainthood which was China’s national day marking the 51st anniversary of the Communist government Pope John Paul II wanted to insult further the Chinese. The Chinese foreign ministry also expressed utmost indignation about the offending act Pope John Paul II. Why was this reaction by the Chinese?
The foreign missionaries helped the Western nations invade and pillage China. Many of the missionaries were just criminals. Very few interesting cases will be explained here. ."Saint" Auguste Chapdelaine (1814-56), a French priest by the Chinese name "Malai," secretly began his mission to Hunan and Guizhou provinces in central and western China in 1852. Three years later he went to Xilin County in Guangxi. According to many archives, he collaborated with corrupt local officials, raped women and was notorious in those areas. Chapdelaine defied the ancient Chinese custom of worshipping deceased ancestors and ordered all his followers to stop such practices and forbade them to marry their children to all but Catholics, which led to many family and clan feuds. He even resorted to using local bandits to expand his "evangelical influences." He bribed local officials so that the bandits would not be punished. He had a live in prostitute an attractive widow by the name of Cao. He also raped other pretty women who joined the church. He was very fond of deflowering brides on their first night. When church followers married, he held mass for them and he raped the brides many times, according to archives that quote local people in Xilin. Indignant local people brought a lawsuit against him at the county government, and a newly appointed county magistrate by the name of Zhang Mingfeng sentenced him to death according to the Qing Dynasty law. That was the well-known Xilin Religious Case, which gave the then French Government that believed in their birth right to rape Chinese women, decided to collaborate with Britain in starting the second Opium War in 1856. The war brought even more misery to the Chinese people. It is better if the christians called Auguste Chapdelaine as the Deflowering Saint of Pope John Paul II
An Italian missionary Albericus Crescitelli (1863-1900) with a Chinese name "Guo Xide" still stirs anger and feelings of humiliation amongst people of the Yanzibian area of Northwest China's Shaanxi Province. B The Italian went to this Chinese area to preach in 1898 and ordered that all the daughters of his church followers be "baptized" by him on the eve of marriage. He then raped every one of them. The wives of all local Christians of Chinese areas Pan Changfu, Zheng Ganren and Yang Hai had all been raped by the missionary before marriage. He stole land and property from the people and forcibly pillaged their fortunes. He actively converted local tyrants, bandits and hooligans to help him extort "taxes" and labor services. In 1898, the area was severely flooded, and Albericus Crescitelli was "authorized" to hand out government aid from the Qing Dynasty government. But he told the suffering peasants they had to join his church in order to get more aid as is being done to the tsunami victims of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh as reported widely in all newspapers. He also ran a blade company in China and lent the money to peasants at an exorbitant interest rate. The local christians who had Italian children by the missionary, decided that they could no longer put up with this fucking christian missionary and killed him in 1900. Albericus Crescitelli should better be called as the saint of missionary position.
A Spanish missionary Franciscus de Capillas (1607-48) operated in the Fujian Province of China. He was also fond of converting young women and not men as is seen widely in the Chennai city. This caused domestic instability and divorces. The Spanish christian priest advised a young beautiful girl ‘Chen in Xiap’ in Fu'an in Fujian Province to remain a virgin when he heard that girl was engaged. This broke off her engagement and the priest kidnapped her. His fucking activities with a widow resulted in the birth of a baby girl. For these crimes he was arrested in 1647 tried and executed in 1648.
Another Italian christian priest Franciscus Fogolla, was into smuggling activities of precious Chinese antiques to Italy, like our Italian Antonia Maino, alias Sonia Gandhi who was smuggling priceless Indian antiques to Italy. Unlike Sonia Gandhi who went on sending the antiques to her two antique shops in Italy for many years in collaboration with the Opus Dei operative in the Italian embassy and Rajiv Gandhi’s security group through Delhi and Chennai airports, this Italian priest only took 40 boxes of precious Chinese antiques to Italy mainly collected from Taiyuan of Shanxi Provinces and sold it back in Italy for enormous amount of money. . He was more of an antique smuggler than a christian preacher. Yet Pope Paul II gave him sainthood.
Vatican not only refused to apologize to Chinese but went on to tell the world that these christian missionary animals were christian saints. It is to be noted that the even the Chinese Bishop had criticized the action of Pope John Paul II.
Look at what happened in India. The first lot of christians came to India in the fourth century when they were persecuted by the Romans who declared Christianity as the official religion and those who followed the Gnostic Christianity were driven out. Yet the Syrian christians who came first to Kerala started a lie that they came in 52AD along with a st. Thomas which even the BBC is saying that it is a lie and this idea is not even taught in Western seminaries as a fact. Christians in India created a saint, out of the non existent Thomas, and also fabricated a story that he was killed in India.
The first wave of christian missionaries came as the representative of the invaders of India. One such christian priest was Fransis Xavier. After his failure to convert the Hindus in Goa, Francis Xavier wrote to King D. João III of Portugal, for an Inquisition to be installed in Goa. Vatican authorized and established inquisition in 1560 in Goa. Inquisition by Christians in India was one of the most horror stories in the history of India. The Inquisition was simply the most diabolical institution ever created by humanity, and shows the depravity of the christian church and the Pope The inhuman torture of local population by the christian fanatics resulted in significant sections of the Hindu population to migrate from Goa to Mangalore. Only after eight years after the death of this christian terrorist Francis Xavier did the Hindus come back to Goa. Conversion by torture and terrorism initiated by Xavier, earned him sainthood from the Pope in 1622. Before proceeding further the readers should understand what the word Inquisition stands for is. The Inquisition might arguably be considered an even worse evil than the Holocaust and it is just killing of humans using torture methods that involve some of the following methods.
6. The Head Vice: Pretty straightforward concept. They put your head into a specially fitted vice, and tighten it until your teeth are crushed, your bones crack and eventually your eyes pop out of their sockets.
4. Sawing: Heretics were hung upside-down and sawed apart down the middle, starting at the crotch.
5. Disembowelment: Not the nice kind of disembowelment, where a samurai slits you wide open like a fish and you die in moments. No, that's not good enough for the Inquisition. A small hole is cut in the gut, and then the intestines are drawn out slowly and carefully, keeping the victim alive for as much of the process as possible.
6. The Stake: Depending on how unrepentant a heretic might be, the process of burning at the stake could vary wildly. For instance, a fairly repentant heretic might be strangled, and then burned. An entirely unrepentant heretic could be burned over the course of hours, using green wood or simply by placing them on top of hot coals and leaving them there until well done.
The Indian Christians were collaborators of all foreign invaders and were spies of the British. Instead of apologizing for what the christian priest Fransis Xavier initiated in India, the Indian Bishops consider Xavier as a saint. The Indian christian community constructed schools, colleges and hospitals in the name of Fransis Xavier thus showing respect to the first international terrorist who operated in India.. While Chinese Christians are loyal to China, the Indian Christians are loyal to the Pope and the Western nations.
Hindu Vedic culture was once prevalent worldwide.
All Hindu Puranas, Itihas, and the Vedas talk about Vedic kings being the controlling authority of the Whole world. i.e. Yudhishthir Maharaj, Parikshit Maharaj etc. and that the whole world followed Vedic religion and spoke one language i.e. Sanskrit. I have read some fine books on the subject matter, and this one too has some very practical day-to-day proofs of Sanskrit and Vedic cultures influence in the whole world. I am trying to reproduce some relevant texts from the book. "Proof of Vedic Cultures Global Existence" by Stephen Knapp.
Here are some excerpts of the names of various countries and places, which have direct relationship with Sanskrit, and I am sure you will find it very thought provoking. We can also use the same in our preaching process.
Vedic influence in Britain
In the book The Aryans by V Gordon Childe relates how after 2000 BC people who had background with Indus Valley Civilization conquered Britain, and that was the phase of rapid development in Britain.
Britain
- Name Isle of Angelsey in Britain derives from name of Lord Vishnu as Angulesh, meaning lord of Anguli country.
- British Isles which is finger sized compared to whole of Europe which is sized as palm of hand was designated the name Angulisthan that later came to be pronounced as Anguliand and then England.
- The name Britain also comes from Sanskrit Brihat-sthan meaning great place or great islands.
- Many names of England cities also have Sanskrit affiliations. E.g. London - was a very ancient Vedic capital, its Sanskrit name was Nandanium meaning pleasing habitation, and during Roman times it was misspelled as Londonium and later London. In European language letter "L" is often replaces "N", like name Svetanana (fair faced) is pronounced in Russia as Svetland.
- Sanskrit suffix Puri found in Indian cities as Sudamapuri or Jagannatha Puri is changed to "bury" in England like Shrewsbury, Ainsbury, Waterbury.
- Salisbury's hilly topography is also proof that it is a corrupt from Sanskrit term Shail-eesh-pury, which means hilly area with a (Vedic) Temple.
- Canterbury is also based on Sankarpury meaning a township of Shankar, Shiva. If you pronounce "C" as an "S" and replace "T" with a "K" in the name Canter, which is not uncommon in changes between Sanskrit and English, then it indicate that prior to British Isles turning Christian in the Sixth Century A.D. Canterbury used to be a seat of Vedic spiritual leader, thus the Archbishop of Canterbury today used to be a Vedic Priest and teacher or a Sankaracharya from which comes the name Sankarpury.
- The English term "shire" is also a corrupt Sanskrit word shwar. This is in reference to Indian towns known for ancient Shiva Center, such as Tryambakeshwar, Lankeshwar, Ghrishneshwar and many others. In England we find names such as Lancashire, Hampshire, Wiltshire etc.
- Like wise walled or fortified Townships are called "Cote" which is the same as kot as in Siddhakot, Agrakot, Lohakot etc. In England too walled townships and castle still bear the Sanskrit names "Cote" like Charlcote, Northcote, Healthcote etc.
- The famous horse races in Ascot is not a chance sport, the name Ascot comes from Sanskrit name Aswacot meaning City of Horses
IRELAND
Ireland is mispronunciation of Sanskrit term Aryasthan meaning land of Aryan (Vedic) Culture.
In the book Collectania De Rebus Hibernicus by Lt. Gen. Charles Vallancey, he explains how "ancient Druids religion of Britons was founded on that of ancient Irish, which was in great part that of the Brahmins...by no other means the deities of Brahmins could have been recorded in Irish manuscripts". This books further notes, "Sir William Jones allows the Irish language great affinity with Sanskrit".
Vallacy further notes, "The Irish and Welsh complain of the devastation of their manuscripts by the Christian missionaries, like Danes, Norwegians and others."
SCANDINAVIA
Meaning Scanda (or Skanda) is a warrior of Lord Shiva and Commander-in-Chief of the divine Army. Sanskrit word naviya signifies a naval expedition in the name if Scanda.
In the book India in Greece Edward Pococke observes that European, Scandinavian, and Indian Kshatriya warrior castes are identical.
The word Viking (king) comes from Simha meaning Lion, Simha is pronounced, as Singa then changing "S" to "K" it becomes King. Thus Vikings were considered Lion like Warriors, like the Singh's from Punjab in India.
GERMANY
- Is a corrupt of sharman applicable to Sanskrit scholars in Vedic terminology. Such names exist in India in surname form like Sharma, which is in reference to this.
- The name Deutschland is a corruption of Daityasthan, referring to land of Daitya clan or those born of Mother Diti and Kashyap Muni.
- The city Heidelburg, "burg" signifies Fort. Sanskrit of which is Haya-dal-durg meaning Fort garrisoned by contingent of Horses.
- German word for thanks is Danke is corrupt Sanskrit for Dhanya.
- Place called Ramstein Sanskrit for Ram-sthan, is the site where first American Pershing missile was located in November 1983, "Stein" is similar to Sthan meaning spot or place.
- Furthermore, Col. James Tod recoedds on pg.63 of Volume I of Annals and Antiquities if Rajasthan "The first habit of Germans upon rising is ablution, which must have been of Eastern origin and not of the cold climate of Germany, as also the loose flowing robes, the long and braided hair tied in a knot at the top of the head, so emblematic of the Brahmins."
- Nazis used swastika forking towards left, normally Gods (Devas) used swastika forked towards right, and the Daityas (Danavas) used swastika forked towards left. Mr. Oak says in "World Vedic Heritage" that is apparent from the left-forked Swastika rooted in German (Deutschland) tradition since hoary antiquity."
CENTRAL EUROPE
- The area of Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Hungary all has signs if ancient Vedic influence. Term Czech is from the term "shak' an ancient clan of Kshatriyas who as a branch of Daitya clan administered parts if Europe.
The Saxena of India, Saxons of Europe and Anglo-Saxons of Britain are part of the same stock.
Consequently the term Czechoslovakia is Sanskrit of Shakaslavakiya. Slavak is another ancient sub-clan.
- The Slav language also has many similarities with Sanskrit. Like agni (fire), Malka (meaning mallika) meaning mother, sestra is sister, brat is brother, syn is son, nos is nose, dam (dham) is house. Many of the personal names are also Sanskrit such as Sudhakant, Asha, Meenakshi and Ramkali.
In Scopte, a city in Yugoslavia there live over 50,000 Ramas, or families with names referring to Vedic connections.
- Slavak festival falling in January 13/14, known in Punjab of North India as Lodi and also as Sankranti, is almost the same as the "Loda" of Slavs.
Slavs celebrate the end of winter in the spring by building a bonfire. Peasants dance and sing songs to Loda, the goddess of spring and festivity.
The Christians have since changed the name to Butter Week. This is another indication of how the Christians have tried to place their identity on age old Vedic festivals to make them look deceptively Christian. Mr. Oak says The Slavs were forced into Christianity and to abandon Vedic culture in the 9th century. "For a long time Christianity suffered to exist. However, Vladimir, the Charemagne of Russia (who became king in 980 A.D.) proclaimed Christianity as the state religion by himself toppling a statue of the Vedic deity Varun, alias Parun. Then all Temples and Schools were turned to Christian Churches and monasteries. And Vladimir was changed to Wassily on being baptised.
- Hungary was shringeri, implying Scenic. Just like in Sindhu and Hindu the "S" and "H" is interchanged.
- Budapest was Buddhaprastha, meaning holy city of Buddha.
- In Bulgaria we find the dictionary replete with Sanskrit words. When the Indian Embassy, Bulgaria, informed Bulgarian government of this, they promptly set up courses in Sanskrit in numerous schools. During the Indian film festival organised in Bulgaria it was found that the audiences could easily understand Sanskrit words in the dialogue.
SPAIN
Spain originates from Sanskrit word spand, meaning throbbing or pulsating. Words like spin, spun and spindle come from the same Sanskrit root. Spain gets its name form being ancient pulsating or thriving Vedic centre that linked Europe with Africa.
Spain was conquered by Christians and later by Muslims. After about 600 years people had an uprising and they drove away the Muslims. Mr. Marvin H.
Mills Professor in Architecture school in the City College of New York, says "it is my belief, though remains to be confirmed, is that the most important alleged Moslem building in Spain are not Muslim at all. They probably precede the Muslim era dating from 711 A.D. much like in India the Muslims came as looters ad conquered preying on superior culture where they found generous amounts of buildings to choose from."
ITALY
The name Italy in Sanskrit Etaly signifies a country situated at the bottom of the continent (now called Europe).
- Many Roman gods originated from the east (Vedic deities), especially from the Greece e.g. Zeus is Dyus, Jupiter is Diupeter (or Dyua Pitar, the Vedic Indra), Minerva is Pallas Athen, Diana is Artemia, Venus (the Vedic Lakshmi) became Aphrodite, Neptune is Poseidon, Vulcan is Hephaestus, and so on.
- Even today we can see the image of Lord Shiva standing over a public fountain in the square at Bolgona, Italy with his Trident and hoods of two snakes on his shoulders.
- Throughout Italy images of Ganesha, Shiva and other Vedic Deities can be found in excavations.
- They also worshipped Lord Rama and images if Rama, Sita and Lakshman can be found in walls of ancient houses being excavated.
- Even portraits of Pompey, the Consul of Rome wearing the distinct mark of a V "Tilok" on his forehead is found. A Painting of Etruscan emperor (2nd Cent. B.C.) Wearing the same "Tilok" on his forehead and neck and wearing a "Dhoti" can be seen.
- The City of ROME is pronounced as "ROMA" in Italy, is also named after
LORD RAMA
. "O" replaces the Sanskrit letter "A" for European pronunciation, just as Nasa in Sanskrit is spelled as "Nose" in English. This indicates the entire Roman Empire was part of Lord Rama Empire. Additional proof of this can be found from the founding date of Italy, which was 21st April in 753 B.C., which is unique because no other ancient city is so very exact about its founding date. The reason why this exact date is recorded is because 21st April is the date of Ramnavami in 753 B.C. Yet another proof is that another Italian city, Ravenna is named after Lord Rams adversary Ravana, and as Ravana was the enemy of Lord Ram, the city of Rome and Ravenna is situated diametrically opposite each other, one on the western coast and the other on the eastern coast.
POPE and VATICAN
- Pope comes from the Sanskrit word Paap meaning sin and ha meaning removes, thus Paap-ha means remover of sin. So Paap-ha was the title and the function of the supreme pontiff attached to the Vedic administration. And from this came the shortened word Pope.
- Every sage lives in a Hermitage which is called "Vatika", even the Vedic sage Paap-ha lived in his Vatika which is still now called "Vatican".
- Further evidence that the Vatican was once as Vedic post is found in the Vatican's Etruscan Museum. Therein is preserved and on display five Vedic Shiva-lingas, some of which the Vedic Pope used to worship, as well as images of Shiva with a Cobra raising its hood over Shiva's head. Many others are said to be hidden in the museum and in the cellars of the Vatican.
- Much of the present day rituals of the Pope have roots in the Vedic tradition, like chanting of Hymns, the purification with incense, the offering and distribution of Food and even washing of feet are the remnants of full Vedic rituals that used to be practiced by the Vedic Pope. Washing of feet is not a normal Christian practice because congregation members always wear socks and shoes.
GREECE
There are many connection of Greece with the Vedic Culture;
- Indra whirling his thunderbolt appears to be the same as Jupiter, Chrisn (Krishna) and his nine Gopis are evidently Apollo and the Muses.
- The fact that Krishna was the God of Greece is proved by the silver coins made by Agathaclose, a Greek ruler of the 2nd century B.C. These coins bear the imprint of Lord Krishna and his brother Balrama and are on display in several museums.
- Furthermore, a large mosaic of young Krishna playing his flute, standing cross legged under a tree white grazing cows, hangs in the museum in Corinth.
RUSSIA
The name Russia i.e. Russi (also spelled as Rishi) is Sanskrit word for a Sage. Thus the term Russia signifies the land of Rishis and Sages.
- Russian phraseology and language also bears close resemblance to
Sanskrit. E.g. Daughter-in-law is called Snoka like Sanskrit term for it Snusha. Name Andropov signifies one belonging to the family of Indra (In pronounced as Andro in Russian). The name Lebedev is Sanskrit name Lava-dev, meaning Lava, the son of Lord Rama.
- Name of Moscow has Sanskrit origin, when we change the places of "C" and "S" the name is spelled as Mocsow, which is Sanskrit of "Moksha", meaning salvation, which is the chief goal of life of the Rishis, Sages.
- While the term Soviet comes from the term Svet meaning white (snow-covered) region.
- Term Bolshevik is Sanskrit for Bal-Sevik, signifying Rishis (Sages) who sought to attain (Spiritual or Temporal) power.
- The names of towns ending with "Grad" are from Sanskrit "Graam".
- In Caspian Sea there is a busy port of Baku, where you find a temple of Goddess of Effulgence (Jwalamai). Buried under the heap of ashes are inscriptions left by Vedic Fire Worshippers. On the walls of the temple the sacred Gayatri Mantra is written in Devanagri Script. Even up to World War II a lone Vedic monk would station himself there in the austere surroundings to maintain the place. Local Indian Hindu merchants would bring donations for the upkeep of the temple and the monk. There may be many such Vedic Temple scattered in Russia now camouflaged as Christian Churches.
- In 30th August 1982, a Times of India publication published a discovery, a stone carving depiction a Vedic Chariot in the Region of Tajikistan.
Ancient Vedic Sages lived along with their disciples in the caves, which were hand carved just like you find in India in the Armenian Republic.
- In 27th November 1983 the Indian Express published about the Vedic
remains in Russia. When Soviet archaeologists stumbled on the remains of a giant
Buddhist Cave-monastery in the Kara-Tepe hill during excavation-work in Termez in Uzbekistan, fresh light was once again thrown on the possibility of cultural relation-ship between Soviet Central Asia and India.
- The Russians also knew Ayurveda, the Vedic medicinal science. The Sanskrit text of Ashtang Ayurveda was discovered in Russia, along with a bronze image of the Vedic deity of longevity, is on display at the international academy of Indian Culture, 22-Hauz Khas Road, New Delhi. Also, people of Siberia are conversant with the preparation of Ayurvedic medicines like Triphala, Hingashtak powders. Due to the inhospitable Siberian region Christianity was unable to penetrate easily into the region thus people of Siberia were still able to preserve the knowledge.
- The word Siberia is still pronounced by local people as Shibir, which is exact Sanskrit word meaning encampment or temporary habitation.
- In the town of Samarkand there is a palatial building housing the grave of conqueror Tamerlian, confusion exists about the building whether it was a Muslim building or an earlier Vedic Building of the earlier rulers. Because at the entrance there are pictures or images of Sun and Tiger, which local guides still call "Soor-Sadul" meaning Surya-Shardul which could very well be the emblem of the Vedic rulers.
- There exist Russian Veda which is exactly like our Vedas in which the central figure is the figure called Krishen, it has the same stories of that of Bhagavad-Puran, where he kills many demons including the witch, and snake exactly like Putna and Agasura.
THE KABA WAS A VEDIC SHRINE
- Kaba is the holiest shrine of Islam; it was entirely rebuilt as it stands now in 1627.A.D.
- The name Kaba comes form Sanskrit word Garbha Griha, which was shortened to Gabha. This refers to the sanctum, which the kaba is in Islam. Just as Sanskrit word for Gow or Gau becomes Cow in English, with the "G" becoming "C", the word Gabha became Kaba in Arabic. Thus Kaba was known as Garbha Graha. To help was confirm this, let us remember that the Kaba is also known as Haram, which comes from Sanskrit word Hariyam, meaning "The Shrine of Hari, Lord Vishnu." The Floor plan of Kaba is Octagonal structure, which was typical of Vedic pattern in Architecture. Each corner was meant for enshrining 8 Vedic deities, and the central sanctum housed the reclining form of Lord Vishnu.
- Even now the Vedic custom of circumambulation of the Deity is practiced at the Kaba. All pilgrims circumambulate the entire building 8 times. This is strange because in no modern mosques circumambulation is practiced. It is another carry over of the ancient Vedic custom, which is not Islamic custom.
- Also, just as every Shiva temple has holy Ganga (Ganges) River, there is the Zam Zam spring near the Kaba. The two "Gs" are replaced by "Z" which makes it Zamza or Zamzam.
- Also, Shiva is often shown with a crescent moon on his head, and Shiva
Temples have a crescent on top of the Temple. The crescent moon on the pinnacle on the kaba is but a remnant of its Vedic origin.
- It is also said that the Black Stone (Sangay Aswad) is originally a representative of Shiva. Mahadeva, in the form of a Shiva-lingam. Shiva is also known as Makkheshvari, to which the name Makka or Mecca refers. The linga as a formless symbol of Divinity was retained by Mohammed, although its pedestal has been lost.
- It is well known that Mohammed smashed all the deities except of that of Allah, and buried them in the cellars of the Temple. The Black Stone is black with reddish tones and yellow particles. It is an ovoid shape, about 111 inches wide and 15 inches high. This is typical shape and colour of Shiva-linga. In the book World Vedic Heritage it is said, "The general belief that Kaba is only a Shiva temple is not true. It is originated as a Vedic Shrine depicting the Vedic version of the creation with a reclining Vishnu's navel forming the centre of the cosmic theme. A whole pantheon of Vedic gods surrounded Vishnu. Mohammed destroyed them all. The Shiva-linga stone wrenched away from its base was retained as a sacred symbol because it was the special patron and a faceless deity of Mohammed's Kuru-ishi household. He was a Shaivite. That was why those insisting that the caliphate remain in his family are known as Shaivas, now called Shias (Shiites).
- An Ancient Sanskrit scripture known as "Harihareshwar Mahatmay has (a couplet) which mentions Lord Vishnu's holy foot prints to be at three main centres in the world, namely one in Gaya (India), the other in Mecca, and the third near Shukla Teertha. Thus today what Muslims treat as Mohammed's foot prints, are actually that of Lord Vishnu's.
Other Encyclopaedias tell us that there are inscriptions inside the Kaba walls, and what they are no body is allowed to study.
- Namaz has its Sanskrit meaning as well, it is made of two Sanskrit letters nama and yaja, meaning to bow and worship.
- Ramadan comes from Sanskrit word Ram-Dhyan, meaning meditate on Lord Rama (Incarnation of God). In Vedic tradition the 9th Day of the bright half of the month of Chaitra is Rama's birthday. The pre-Islamic Arab tradition has retained the 9th month of the year for meditating on Lord Rama. Also, fasts are always associated with Vedic worship, and Islam has retained that fasting tradition for Ramadan. (see more here)
VEDIC INFLUENCE IN THE ORIENT
The Vedic influence in Eastern Asia is very well known.
- Java is Sanskrit for Jawadvip means island shaped like a barley corn.
- Indonesia still retains its Vedic origins although it now has the biggest Muslim population in the world. Its national airline is Garuda the eagle carrier of Lord Vishnu. The name Indonesia refers to Nesia signifies group of islands and Indo refers to India. Java, Bali and Sumatra are all Sanskrit names and still have Vedic religion followed there.
- Malaysia and Singapore, "Pore" is derived from Sanskrit word "Pur" And Singa is derived from Nrsingha for lion, as the name of Narasinghadeva, the half-man, half lion incarnation of lord Vishnu. So Singapore is the "Lion City".
Malaya also is a Sanskrit word, and Malayan towns bear Sanskrit names, and the royal princesses are called Putri, Mahadevi, Vidyadhari While men have names such as Rama, Lakshmana. Even palaces are called Asthana. All throughout the country one finds excavations leading to Vedic temples and shrines.
- North And South Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. The port of Saigon was named using Sanskrit word Gaon, meaning town and suffix means so many, meaning "Many townships". Mekong River was named after "Ma Ganga" or Mother Ganga (the Ganges).
CHINA
- In China Manchuria derives its name from the Vedic goddess Manjushri, and "Ju" is pronounced as "Chu".
- China is also mentioned in Ramayan as the land of Kosa-Karas (silk worms).
China and India has links with each other dating back thousands of years.
- Auriel Stein found evidence of Indian rule in Turkistan and Khotan in the form of coins and inscriptions and the use of Indian language in the administration upto the 3rd Century B.C.
- In the Fjiyan province at Quanzhou, there are remains of a Shiva Temple.
It still has Shiva-linga over five meters tall and numerous Tamil inscriptions. Even as early as 1950 childless mothers would go to invoke the blessings of the deity for motherhood.
- Like wise in Hsuan-wu, Lo-yang district there is a pillar with Sanskrit writings from top to bottom and right to left. There are may more evidence to prove China too had Vedic past.
JAPAN
Even today Lord Ganesha and Goddess Durga are worshipped but their names are Shoten or Kangijen and Kali-devi-ma is called "Kariteimo". The Navaratri celebrations of paying homage to dead ancestors are followed in Japan.
There are many Vedic temples in Japan and China but are called in different names.
(All throughout the ancient history of the world countries, we come to a stumbling block at around 3000 B.C., which was the time of "Kurukshetra" War. Thus during that war the whole world participated and men lost their lives. And confusion and vacuum that prevailed later gave rise to Christianity and Islam.)
The city of Ramallah.
Palestinian city of Ramallah located 9 miles north of Jerusalem was built across several hills and is about 2.900 feet (about 900m) above sea level. Ramallah itself was mainly Christian but has become a minority community at present. A large Christian minority still resides in the town center and the city has churches of several Christian denominations: Evangelical Lutheran, Catholic, Greek Orthodox, and Orthodox Catholic and Episcopal. The city is the hometown of Yasser Arafat's wife Suha, who was a Catholic.
The name Ramallah has its origins in two words, Ram or Rama is an Aramaic word meaning 'a high place' and Allah is the Arabic word for God, making Ramallah meaning 'God's hill’. The tradition says Ramallah is derived from the Hebrew Ramah which means ‘high’. Ramallah might have been founded around 900,000 years ago by the Hindus in the name of Rama. Allah in Hindu mythology stands for Durga. Ramallah or Ram-Allah or Ram-God was established well before Holy Torah, or Holy Bible, or Holy Koran, etc.were written. Ramallah’s twin-city, al- Bireh, itself was first built around 3500 BC as per historical records. Hindus, even though considered idol worshippers by not only Muslims, but also by Christians and Jews, were the First People of the book; Hindus wrote the Puranas, Veda (4 volumes), Upanishads (many volumes), Bhagavat Gita etc. So if anyone has historic claim, in the name of religion, around the world then the Hindus can stake a claim first, as Hindus were all over the world, spreading the civilization much before other religions originated.
Christianity was created by a committee
In Brief
