I will cut off IE6's fingers one by one very slowly, then cut off IE6's penis (slowly) then open his chest cavity with a scalpel (all this when IE6 is on the foreground thread) and take out its beating heart. Then I will slit IE6's throat and cut off its head slowly, then show the decapitated head to IE7 and Windows XP.

You forgot Vista Square Pants Bloathware. I had a huge team working on issues like 'how to move settings to another location again, preferably hidden and more unlogic', like 'how to decrease security', like 'how to make stupid defaults more mandatory', 'how to promote Mickey Mouse wizards' and so on. We did an excellent job.
IE6 a pain? Wait for IE8 Vista. It will be a widget plugin that will run on any website. Whatever browser a visitor is using, IE8 will take control. It's free but of course we may charge.

There has got to be a way to get rid of IE.
Maybe if we all switch to Firefox or Opera, it wouldn't be so bad.
