A jihad against Chuggers

Chuggers

Chuggers (short for charity muggers) really annoy me. Every time I go to work, go out for lunch, or go home, someone tries to stop me in the street and get me to sign a direct debit to whatever charity they represent. No, I don't mind supporting charity, and I'll quite happily donate my spare change - but I am NOT going to sign a direct debit! No, I don't care that I can change my mind at any time. I don't want you to bother me and try to make me feel guilty for not giving money to starving orphans in Africa - if I gave to all of you I'd be broke. Besides, it's not like you're a volunteer - you probably get paid more than I do. So, please, just leave me alone.
