Find out more | Contact infoTeh Culvars (Leah Culver) brought a big bucket of fail to this years Future of Web Apps Conference. She didn't even teach us mere mortals about the string maths that she's used with such great success on pownce.
Shortly after that she took over a panel aimed at developing a web app in 40 minutes and tried to push through her worthless app idea for them to build. Fortunately the other people on the panel had used computer for things other than Barbie dress up games and righted the ship.
Blaine Cook from Twitter seemed like a pretty nice guy despite the office constantly calling him with problems. Do they have any other employees?
Joseph Smarr from Plaxo spent most of his session about Implementing Open Social explaining cookies to the elders in our crowd and explaining that "hacks" aren't really that big of a threat to the webs. Cocaine is a hell of a drug but did he really have to ask the group if he was right after every statement he made?

Wow...I thought it was actually really good. Not sure why everyone here seems so negative about it.

As the organiser of FOWA, I'd really love to hear why you thought FOWA sucked and maybe some suggestions as to what you'd like to see at future events?
I spent months organising this event and it means the world to me that the attendees feel they get value for money, so any feedback that you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mel :)
