Add a commentTime Warner Cable sucks. I live in Tujunga. They told me my internet lines were new and my internet should be awesome. It sucks. I have to reset my internet multiple times a day because it gets so slow and this is the only way to get it running faster again. So often I'm browsing internet webpages and it takes 30 seconds to a minute to load a single page. It is unbearable for internet use in the modern world. I have been told that it is due to my wireless router, but this is a fake answer. It's the same wireless router I've used when I lived in Santa Barbara and the internet worked fine over there. My parents have Cox Communications less than ten miles away in Burbank and the internet there is perfect, same in Santa Barbara when I lived there (except for when I lived in Isla Vista college community in Santa Barbara where the internet would go out a lot too - I'm starting to think that it depends on what neighborhood you live in based on my experience. Homeowners can afford alternatives, so the cable company is forced to concentrate good service their. Renters can't afford alternatives and often alternative services don't enter those areas and therefore that person will be stuck with local cable provider no matter what so the cable provider has no incentive to compete with good service. Its a little conspiratorial but I think I'm on to something.) Anyway, Time Warner Cable sucks and I suspect they know and don't care.
