It's disgusting when the parents of autistic kids develop a martyr complex in order to be the center of attention and to be admired: "A-a-aw! Your kid is autistic! How brave and noble of you to be a martyr!" Barf! Let's face it: although autistic kids obviously can't help how they are, they can be extremely obnoxious and horrible to be around, and should probably be locked up somewhere. To worship and adore the violently anti-social and obnoxious behavior of some autistic kids is stupid and self-martyring. What the hell do you want - a goddamned medal because you take care of a violently anti-social kid?
