My dad, Fred Brown, who was a very successful and prestigious sound effects editor in the Hollywood film industry, was an abusive sadist who sexually abused me, his own daughter, when I was very young. I hated the hypocritical praise of him at his funeral in 2003. And my mother, Isabel, and my stepmother Michele, were verbally abusive towards me all my life. But the worst was when my dad, Fred Brown, sexually molested me. God, it feels so good to release this.

I was abandoned to a child molester grandfather at age 10. my father knew but never did anything to stop it, and I was too afraid to tell. I know what it feels like to have to keep that sick secret and carry it around inside all the time. Keep speaking out - abuse thrives only in darkness and secrecy, but it can't if we keep shining a light. Hugs and blessings
